| Anyone used commonkindness.com coupons yet?
I like the concept of the site. You sign up, pick a charity and then print coupons on your computer. They have some coupons that are rare as printables like $1/1 12 pack Mt. Dew and $ off of Lay's Potato Chip Stacks. Thing is, the coupons look kinda odd to me when I print them out. I've only printed once but decided not to use them because I KNOW it will be a hassle at the register because they look odd. To me, they actually look kinda home made. So, has anyone used any coupons from the site and if so, did you have any trouble using them? It just looks off kilter to me but I'm hoping I'm wrong because it really does seem like a great set up for a charity to benefit from. |

I used 2 of them at CVS a couple of weeks ago to get a 12 pack of Diet Pepsi and a 12 pack of Pepsi Next for only $1.99. I didn't have any problems using them.

I used one when they had $1.00 off Tostitos and salsa. Tostitos was spelled "Tositos" and I thought for sure I'd have problems. I emailed them about it and they quickly replied to thank me. They had it fixed within hours. Unfortunately, they couldn't get my print to reset so I couldn't print it again whenever the correction was made. I was still able to use it at Food Lion with no problem. I thought for sure there would be an issue not only because of the error but also because they gave me hassle whenever I used printables from couponnetwork because they "didn't look normal". But they didn't even blink - go figure. They list your name and charity on the coupon so I am hesitant to trade them. I'll print them for my own use though. |

I've used several of the chip q's at WalMart & Wags, & you know how pickey they are. Everything went fine. You are right, they look odd & mine don't have my name or charity on them.

The ones I printed out didn't have my name or charity on them either. I'm glad to hear that they are able to be used, I've been REALLY leery of using any them. I'll have to try to use the Mt. Dew now that I know and see how it goes. Thanks! |

Well that's weird. In the bottom left hand corner in orange ink mine read "Thanks <first initial, last name> for supporting Commonwealth Catholic Charities". It's on every coupon I print from there. If I'm the only one, that's really really strange! I'm starting to get paranoid now! |

I bet it's because I have a different charity. Mine is a CASA. When I signed up, there weren't any charities for my state so I picked one at random. That might be the reason why it prints yours like that?

This has really piqued my curiosity. It's really strange that you (and others) don't have that. It seems from reading their FAQ that you don't have to actually use the coupon in order for your charity to get money. Here's how it reads (bolding mine): Quote:
So strange! ETA: I went into my profile and unchecked the boxes of the charities I was supporting. Then I printed yet another coupon and the printing isn't there with my name and charity. Good to know!!! Last edited by judeshoney; 06-03-2012 at 06:06 PM. |
