I keep losing my connection every couple minutes and then need to refresh connections and wait and wait.

Does anyone know why this happens?

Is there anything I can do?

Did you purchase your router through ur ISP or on your own? If you purhcased it on your own it may not be getting the network address properly. In that case you would ahve to call the company that supports the router not your ISP. If it is through the ISp then they should trouble shoot for free. HTH.

It was purchased through ISP. I guess I will have to call them to troubleshoot.

I loath being on the phone with a help desk. Hopefully the person I get speaks English.

i have(still) my french accent,and i dread calling customer service ,i always end up with a guy named bill who has such a heavy indian accent..
we seem to make a remake of a skitt of abbot and costello : who's on first...franco-indian version...

This was happening to us awhile back. They had us turn down our connection speed (?). It has helped the problem tremendously!

Unfortunately, I can't walk you through it. It was something they did on their end...

i do not get offended for my accent.if someone doesn't understand what i am saying ,well ,i repeat.and that is why i do not work customer service.
and we live in the south,and sometimes my Dh can;t understand the deep southern accent.and he was born and raised in the us....
i can say proudly that i am bilingual...or maybe not....my french took a beating....
but i can joke and speak and understand slang in english....
but can;t say desert or dessert....
dh got a kick when we first were married when i would say that i was going to do the bed instead of making it.....
