I'm always behind so no help here! LOL Lately with my inserts I have been keeping them organized by date, and then I check the store shopping lists, find which coupons I need, and go cut them out then.

I was staying behind as well.. I have two binders one of cpns that I do use and one that I don't. I love my Sunday night TV, so I made myself work on cpns while I was watching my programs. On nights that I get envies in, then I sit and file while I watch tv. Hopefully this will work.

I know it is an endless job and you have to constantly update your binder. I also file and clip coupons at night while I am watching TV! Happy Clipping!!

I could never do the binders myself. I keep all the inserts rubber-banded by date order and even that is a mess right now. When i need a q I look it up and pull from that insert.

I have a 2 part system. Since 99% of our inserts come from the recycle center, they don't always come still together. Sometimes parts fall out. The whole one are dated and filed, by date, on a long table I have. As the space runs out I stack dates on top of each other. The ones that fall out and the various coupons that come from all over are cut and filed. My priority lists works like (below) and unfortunately there is always a stack of inserts to be filed. 1. file whole inserts, take 5 seconds 2. cut and file various coupons from mail and other sources, takes a bit of time 3. cut and file 100's of insert parts that fell out in the bin at the recycle center. I am always behind on these and accept some may never get cut. I eventually may start donating these as I get better at couponing. The drawback to my table of inserts is that you cant cut coupons on the spot, in a store and use them on unexpected deals. Plus stores are far away from me. I do take my notebook everywhere, however most coupons are at home filed nicely on that table. My system for sure has pros and cons but its the only way I can manage this many coupons. |

It never is totally done in MHO. I am always adding and taking away. But I know everysunday i devote at least and hr or more to cutting and sorting. As I cut I have the trade pile and the keep pile. Then I add them to my binder. My system I doubt many would understand but it works wonders for me. Go ur own pace it will fall into its place for you. After all that then I look at fliers and try to match up q's with the add then I take them and clip them to the add and write em on a sticky so when I leave i grab my binder bag and all the inserts are there with coupons all ready to go. I take the bag cuz u never kno when the sale of your dreams is goona come and I need to be ready for it! As for the envies when those come in i go threw em and seperat what I can use and what I will trade then make time to add them to the binder. |
