Can someone explain to me what the rebate database is for?? Also where do you get the beer rebate forms from?

And as far as where you can find them? Well, your local grocery store / liquor store ... that's as good a place to start as any. If there is a form that is of particular interest to you, and that you can't find anywhere else, you can write an "ISO" (in search of) post in the "FSOT" (for sale or trade) forum, and see what happens!

The rebate database is supposed to have an entry for every active rebate that we know about so that you can search them all in one place. When an entry is made, all the supporting documentation is supposed to let you know whether it applies to you (many are specific to certain states like alcohol hangtag rebates).

There is a line in the database to enter whether it was found as an alcohol hangtag, tearpad, etc., to give you an idea where to find them. When I post one in the database, I will also normally post any additional information in a specific thread in the proper forum.

For instance, I posted a $10/10 Bud deli platter rebate in the database last night & also posted a specific thread in the alcohol/winetags rebate forum. In my thread, I also indicated that I found the tearpad form in Lowes Foods so that others may target their search for the forms.

Finding the forms can be hit or miss and original forms are required for many rebates. Most alcohol forms are found on displays in grocery stores & others may be found in coupon circulars from newspapers. Since you can't always find them, that is why we post seperate threads. This way people can discuss where the got them & in some cases work out trades for people that cannot find the forms locally from people that can.
