I've been debating about switching from a binder to a box. I hate having to trim my q's to fit in the baseball card holders and the method just doesn't seem to work for me anymore. I'm thinking about getting a coupon box and I really don't want to pay the amount they want for them on ebay. Do you think this BCW Supplies | RED Collector Safe Gaming Case would work and I could just make my own categories/dividers? Will it be big enough? Sturdy enough? Please share your ideas with me!!

I hate trimming q's to fit too! If this does work out please post pics of how it looks when you get it.

Ok, I just broke down and ordered one from ebay, I'm too lazy to make my own. I will post pics when ever I get it organized, God only knows when that will be.

I hope that works well for you! I'm a little late to the game, but what I did - I had a plastic "shoebox" - a clear rubbermaid box the size of a shoebox. I cut a whole bunch of cardstock into quarters and labeled the tops with my categories. I even had room for my stapler, staple puller, and scissors to fit right in the box so the rest of the family couldn't "borrow" them. I've actually gone back to a binder now, with photo pages (4"x6" pockets) - for me, I find I like that better. The boxes on ebay look cool though - enjoy! |

I have been eyeing this Coupon Organizer II Limited Edition Case Box - eBay (item 190323186975 end time Jul-28-09 16:00:21 PDT) which is similiar. I stopped using the binder for the same reason as you. I'm using 2 accordian files now. I always have my diaper bag so it fits in easily for now, but I want a box soon!.

I have a box and love it...I don't think I will ever go to binder...too much work to maintain that one looks good...room for 20 inches of Qs!

That little baby looks sleek and efficient! I have been using an old index card filing box I received as a wedding present in 1991. It was used in a post office (that closed) and is made of super sturdy cardboard with a sliding metal end piece. I used regular recipe card type dividers for categories. It has worked great, though is starting to show wear and tear (I have had to duct tape the edges). Also, it is now packed to bursting since my couponing as gone into hyperdrive thanks to AFC (I have always used coupons, but you guys take it to a higher level). Let us know how the new case works. |

I'm switching to this box too. I posted an ISO here to trade for one and ended up buying one from another AFC member.
