| Dried Beans- how much do you pay?
Thanks to paycuts and a huge dental bill, we just entered financial crunch time. So I have been looking for inexpensive dried beans to use as a substitute for meat. So far, not much luck. Other than Pinto Beans I can't find anything under $1.20/ lb. So where do you guy buy them and how much do you pay per lb? |

Have you tried Wal-mart? I have no clue what the prices are for dried beans. Sometimes if you look in the Spanish food sections they have products there with lower prices - NOT always though some prices seem to be jacked up in that section it is a hit or miss thing.

I just price matched at wal-mart for 2lbs for .97. The store here that I price matched is Rancho Liboria. They have great prices but I don't shop there since I can price match at wal mart.
