| What do you always save on & never save on?
Since I am new to this, I am wondering what things do you always or almost always get a good deal on? On the flip side, what are the items that you have to buy yet rarely or never find a good deal on? Just wondering. |

HBA items are a given. I try to save on meat and produce but I think those are the hardest for me.

I agree ....I can usually always find good deals on health & beauty products but it's harder to save on meats and fresh produce.

Yes i must agree meat and produce always cost me the most! Most coupons for meat are always tied to another product it seems and I just dont feel like it is ever really that great a deal. HBA are for sure big savers as well as alot of cleaning products.

I think I'd have to add in on Diapers.. I know there are tons of deals but we are really brand specific and although we save a little here and there I've never found a WOWZA WE GOT TO STOCKPILE type of deal.. and I'm sure by the time she is potty trained one will come along..and I'll buy them anyway because well. I just have this feeling we're going to eventually have another..

I have a hard time with coffee/coffee creamer. My DH goes through it so quick, and even though there are come coupons here and there, it seems there are never opportunities to really stock up- especially the creamer! I always save on health & beauty items too. I just donated a huge amount of my stockpile, so that's off my hands thank goodness!

Same here. I can just find a decent sale on meat, but never have coupons. I try to buy produce on sale, but DD eats a lot of fruit and sometimes I just have to go with any sale instead of waiting for a great sale. I can always find deals on HBA and have stopped looking b/c I don't need anything. The non-grocery item I can't seem to save on is shoes. I don't buy a lot of them and that's partly b/c it's hard to find a good deal. I used to splurge on shoes for myself quite a bit.

I'm with Alexdur85- DIAPERS- so hard to find good deals on diapers. I'm picky about my brand, too.

I can get good deals on cleaning products (for home, body and clothes!), cereal, and pet products. I wish I could get discounts on sports fees and equipment for the kids!

And I don't like the q's that piggyback for something else in order to buy the meat or produce. It's usually for something we don't like or use. And many times I can't even give it away! |
