I have $5 off tide from BRU & can combine w/ a manu. So my ? is....is $.16 per load a decent price for detergent.....tide...I don't normally buy this brand. I really don't like purex....used it up almost & want to move to something else. do you figure out the price per load or how do you figure a good deal ?

I was wondering this last night also.

With a store q and man. q, I could get Purex for $1.38 for 32 loads - 4 cents a load.

It's been a while since I bought laundry detergent, but I'm thinking 7 cents and under is good for the cheaper brands. I'm not sure about Tide and those nicer brands though.

Free is best...
otherwise it depends on if your brand specific.
I try to get it when it produces ECB or coupons for movies that would buy or something like that.
I don't usually ever buy generic or the cheapies, but have and am not disappointed with them.
I would say under $.10 a load is great!!
So to answer your question, I saw these coupons and that deal, and NO, I did not think it was worthwhile for me. But I don't currently NEED any.
So if your in need it may be something you want to try?

? on the per load thing. Per ounce, I'm happy if I can get the 50 oz Tide for 4.50 or less/100oz for 9 or less after coupons. Each brand and the varieties within a brand will differ in load size per bottle; I think it's easier to tell the real price you're paying if you look at the per ounce price.
