Can someone explain to me what super stacking is? I thought it was using more than one Q on one product (2 MQ on one can of juice for example). Can someone explain this to me, as I am really lost right now. Thanks.

The only thing I know about super stacking is we're not suppose to talk about it. Which is interesting, because I don't know what it is. Would be helpful if along with the warning, there was a definition/explanation of what it is.

What about using multiple $3 off any CVS brand item q's?? As I only used one $3/$15, and that's really the only q's discussed in that thread. Sorry just attempting to figure this out, as I did not know that what I did was bad. Thanks.

I read all of that thread and all it mentions is X/XX coupons, I just don't understand if it's also considered super stacking to use multiple $3 off any CVS item Q's in one transaction as long as I'm buying the same amount of items with the same amount of Q's. That's all I want to know and why it's considered super stacking.

From what I read on that other thread, I belive superstacking applies only to the $/$$ coupons, not to the $3 off any CVS purchase. I think as long as you had as many CVS items as you have coupons it should be fine.

Sweetpea...I think the mods were wrong to pull your thread with the info about your transaction where you used multiple "$3 off any CVS brand item" and a $3/$15. That is not superstacking as far as I can tell from the explanation thread that NJmom gave.

What does it say on the $3 off anything CVS coupon?

I have one in front of me. It says:

Maximum value $3

CVS/pharmacy will not accept offers printed from unauthorized internet postings or reproductions, copies, or facsimilies of this offer. Original coupon must be relinquished at the time of purchase. Coupon is void if copied, transferred and where prohibited by law. This coupon excludes CVS/pharmacy gift cards. Tax charged on pre-coupon price where required. Coupon cannot be combined with any other CVS/pharmacy coupons. Limit one coupon per customer. No cash back offer expires 1/17/09

To me, the wording is clear. No use with any other CVS coupons, which in my head includes a $X off $XX coupon.

Thanks Mav, that's all I wanted to know. I just wanted someone to explain it to me, thank you very much. I saw in other posts about people using multiples of these and asked the manager before using, that's why I wasn't sure what was wrong with it.

I did stack online coupons once for like 20% off coupon code followed by a free shipping coupon code and got both to work. Sometimes there is a special technique i.e., what order the online coupon codes are stacked in order to get all to work. I usually do a websearch first under the store name and codes or promo codes to see what others have posted on the web about stacking successes.

This was one of the first couponing trips I've taken to CVS, and the only one where I've used a CVS Q, that's why I had no idea about this.

Of course you didn't do it on purpose. You did nothing wrong in my opinion as long as you asked before hand and the manager said it was fine.

I do think on 90% of the CVS coupons it has this same wording about not using with another coupon but all of us do it all the time. I belive if they're going to start pulling threads about using coupons incorrectly, then the threads with coupon overage need to start getting pulled too, as most stores policy is to adjust coupons down and not allow overage....this is violation of store policy.

She is correct. I couldn't answer 100% as I did not have the coupon in front of me. If you read the details of the coupon, it will tell you.
