Thanks for posting this! It's a shame about the 6 paper limit; I'm hoping the rates are somewhat similar to their current $1/week deal for Wednesday & Sunday. I'd happily forgo the Wednesday papers for a lower price, but still $6/week would be a great deal for home delivery. Please let us know if you follow up with them!

How would you order the multiple papers? I tried to look on their website, but could not find how to put in more than 1 order.

I have been rying to get this since I moved down here. Here is the skinny. The paper requires you to purchase a subscription to Coupon Sense in order to get a price break on multiple papers. To me that is illegal and unfair inducement. However I can see no other way to do it, UNLESS, maybe subscribe to coupon Sense for one month, cost is $4 for the first month, then order the paper subscription. Then don't renew the coupon sense subscription as the info you get from them is available free on the internet anyway. If ya prepay say maybe 6 months on the paper, maybe they won't catch that you canceled the coupon sense deal. Kinda sneaky but then so are they.

Well I finally gave in. Bought the 1st month of coupon sense. Their filing system is really weird. BUT I get 4 sundays and 1 each of wednesday, friday and saturday, net cost for az republic is $24 and change. not too bad.

Hey, everyone.

I know this is an older thread, but thanks so much for this info. Idk if I did it wrong - but I was able to get 2 subscriptions last year (they are close to ending here soon) for Sunday and Wednesday delivery at $1 a week each when they were running their specials last year - I just staggered them by a few months. I did just get a renew slip for one of the subscriptions, and feel like $2 a week is too much - but then I guess I'm spoiled.

Also did want to add that every once in a while there are free subscriptions to the Wall Street Journal through some of the freebie magazine sites. I have found at least in the Phoenix area (I'm in a suburb) - that the Friday or Saturday editions will have SS inserts. So if you see a freebie subscription and are in the Phoenix area, jump on it!

Wish magazine freebie sites

Could you please point me to these magazine freebie sites? I used to get the daily paper for $20 a year and while Wed and Sun isn't bad, it's still 2.5 times more for a much larger paper!! Wouldn't move back there just for that, I'm liking AZ pretty well if I could only figure out how not to burn my hands when covered parking is not available in summer LOL!

If they consider the use of their porch a gift to you and you are in agreement with each other I don't think there is anything wrong, but don't forget to tip accordingly!

Just curious.....

Wall Street Journal is free, has inserts.

Dollar Tree has the paper for $1.00.

So why are we paying for CS to get multiple? That's crazy. Get one for $7/mo HERE..... then sign up for WSJ HERE, then drive to DT on the Sunday a.m. and get it for $1. Even more, DT has SUFFICIENT papers - mine is in a heavily couponed area and has them all the way thru Saturday. In fact, I just went yesterday and got more of last Sunday's papers.

I have been 18th in line on Sunday before DT opened & was not able to get the paper. They limit it to 3 per person. Maybe other stores order more papers than the one in QC.

What store can you find the free WSJ?

Mine normally runs out fast too, but I was once told by a cashier that they get another shipment on Monday and have been able get my papers the next day a few times. So even if they run out on Sunday morning, check back throughout the week.

Also, my local .99 store has papers - limit 2 although I think you can do multiple transactions. I just bring my hubby in if I want more than 2. They open at 8am and are out fast on good coupon weekends.

We're in Goodyear.

Oh and you have to order the free WSJ through one of the freebie magazine sites, it isn't at a store (mommyof1beauty linked it above). It's a convulted process to order one (5-25 word essays about business lunches and wallets) but so worth it for free SS inserts. If you aren't ordering free magazines - start. There are so many freebie sites that list them when they are available (PM me if you want to know the ones I use). We get a ton of mags like Better Homes and Gardens, Woman's Day, Martha Stewart Living and Family Circle and every once in a while there are little coupon books inside those too. Now, it's not necessarily a ton of coupons, but every little bit helps. Plus alot of those magazines will also have coupons in the ads. Free coupons just 'spend' better imho.
