View Full Version : How does b1g1 work when you have a free coupon?

The 9 Lives cat food is B1G1. I have a coupon for 1 free 9 Lives. Since the B1G1 free products ring up 1/2 price, would I get the full price or 1/2 price of the 9 Lives taken off with my coupon? :confused2: Does anyone know? Thank you!

I don't know for sure. When I buy something with a free coupon that is BOGO, the cashier usually looks up the price and then enters it manually. Most of the time, it is the after BOGO price, but they take the BOGOs off at the end of the receipt now, so sometimes cashiers will take off the regular price. It probably just depends on how thorough your cashier is when looking for the item price.

I used a BOGO today on crackers. Like aidan&logansmommy mentioned, the reduced price doesn't show till the end. She took off the full value. I had two Q's & she did it that way for both boxes. It beeped when she tried to enter it but she said it was because it was a high value Q. Manager came & fixed it. 4 free boxes of crackers!

Good luck with the cat food. I don't see why it should be any different.

Thank you! I'll give it a try with the 9 Lives this weekend. Great job on the crackers!
