| White Sauce Cubes White Sauce Cubes makes 16 1 c. butter 1 c. flour Combine. Divide into 16 cubes (in an ice cube tray), and freeze. When frozen, remove to zipper-seal bag (note that these can be tricky to get out of the ice tray) and store frozen. To use, heat 2 cubes with 1 cup of milk for medium white sauce, or use a cube to replace 1 Tbsp. butter and 1 Tbsp. flour in a recipe that makes its own "white sauce."   |
