 How I got a FREE Kindle without winning a sweepstakes
I don't know how many couponing blogs/websites you guys frequest (Afullcup being one of my favorites  ), but I learned from one of them that ING bank online was having a promotion where if you opened one of their FREE interest-accruing checking accounts (which is cool in its own right), and made 3 purchases within the first 45 days of opening it, at the end of the promotional period they would deposit $50 in your account FOR FREE. (This promotion is now over, sorry, I just needed to tell somebody about my deal!) So I did it, no big deal. It was all online and they even mailed me a credit/debit card to access my funds. The credit posted to my account in a timely manner, but I didn't touch it yet as I really didn't know what I wanted to do with it.Then, enter this deal. Refurbished Amazon Kindles are going for $69 here - Certified Refurbished Kindle , and there was a Amazon local deal voucher for $20 off ANY Refurbished Kindle purchase here - AmazonLocal Seattle: Free Voucher Worth $20 Off a Certified Refurbished Kindle on Amazon.com ($49 after discount) . (Looks like this voucher is now NLA) The buying the voucher asks for a credit card but won't charge anything, as the total comes to $0.00 (best receipt I've ever seen!). I have been wanting to get a Kindle for a while to get all the free books I've been seeing on couponing websites. Anyway, I bought the Refurbished Kindle, with FREE shipping, used the voucher that brought it to $49 and paid with my ING FREE $50 credit. And that, ladies and gentlement, is how I got a free Kindle.   |
