My husband just came home from Aldi with an enormous pumpkin he got for $2.25!

Normally we grow our own but this year the buggers got em...so we were going to have to do without and we have a pumpkin carving contest every year! At this price I can afford to buy the kids one each

I would call Aldi's first, last year my stores didn't carry them.

My husband said there were a couple ladies going nuts grabbing all the pumpkins so I guess you have to get there at the right time. The one he got is so big they couldn't pick it up so he grabbed it

There was great pumpkins at my Aldis this week-for $1.99.
Some of the prettiest I've seen...
Too bad we already have ours.

Thanks for the heads up! Grandpa usually grows pumpkins for all the grandkids but this year wasn't a great year for them. They are not nearly big enough to carve. They'll be pretty as a centerpiece though.

I got 4 HUGE ones already this year from them. They were $2.49 when I grabbed them, seems they've gone down since. The kids bug me very day to carve already cuz they are so big!! LOL

A new Aldis opened in my area Friday and they have pumpkins for 1.49 with a limit of 4.

Couple days after reading your post we went to Aldi and found great Pumpkins for the kids! They were about 50% cheaper than Walmart!

We got 2 huge ones for $1.99 each. At Walmart they are $3.75 and tiny compared to the Aldi's ones. The Aldi ones were also loaded to the brim with seeds, just packed. Yummy toasted pumpkin seeds.

$1.99 here too, and very big, though some were pretty rough looking. I already had the pumpkins I put outside for decorations, but I managed to find two for my kids to carve.
