Lucky me I left home and completely forgot my coupon binder, oh well. I needed to get a few groceries so I headed to Aldi since I forgot my binder. Some of you may know but for those of you who do not Aldi does not accept coupons but you can get some great deals there. I spent $53 for everything you see. Here is a high light of some of the deals I picked up. Curly fries $1.69, my kids love these Ground Turkey Meat $2.49 half of what it costs elsewhere Chicken Broth $1.29 Cream cheese .99 Sour cream .99 Taco season mix .33 Peanut butter crackers .95 5lb bag red potato's $2.29 64 oz apple juice $1.19

I use chicken broth all the time and that $1.29 is a great price. Might need to head to Aldi's soon and stock up for the holidays. You do know, you're gonna blink and they'll be here!! Can't believe August is almost over.

| Just an FYI - their chicken broth is the light and fit low sodium too which makes it an even better price. Aldi is the only place I buy broth now!

Aldis all around is a fantastic deal - I have used their garbage bags only for about 3 years now - number one they are alot cheaper and number two they are stronger than those other brands that cost a mini fortune. Before I couponed they were my main store and went to the other grocery stores for what I couldnt find there. I can walk out of that store with a heeping cart for less than $100 - when I go to the other stores I get 1/2 of a cart for $100. - I still have not found a single product that Aldi's selld that my family did not like!

I saw salsa last week-end in the non-refridge section. Try looking for their taco shells and other "Mexican-type" items. If the store carries it, they should have it in that section.
