Are Aldi's only sold in a specific store?

they look more like Luvs to me personally. 5.99 for a jumbo isn't a bad price if you are in a pinch, but I think you can get name-brand dipes cheaper at the drugstores, etc. heck I bought a case of Cruisers at Toys R Us (of all places!) a couple of weeks ago - the huge case, I caluclated it to be equal to about 5 jumbos - and paid $22 with tax. then again, I am that mom who has had no luck whatsoever with any diaper other than a Pamper, so maybe I'm just biased |

I've always bought store brand diapers for my kids. Thankfully never had any problem with them. I have never bought Aldi because when I've done the math, the per diaper cost for Aldi was higher than Walmart or Target brand. Like there's fewer in a pack or something. I'll double check on that when I shop today. We do need diapers! |

So I went yesterday and bought some aldi diapers for $5.99 for 30 (size 5). Went to Target and saw that their 30 pack was $5.79- both come out to about 19 cents per diaper. A 80 count case of the Target diapers was $13.49 or 16 cents per diaper. Anyway, Aldi's isn't the best but you have a Huggies only kid and if they are comparable to Huggies as opposed to other generics then you probably are getting more than your money's worth. |

Does anyone know if these are available on the west coast (WA)? I'm interested in giving them a try if I can find them.

You should be able to find them in any Aldi's store. They are a staple product! HTH!

That's a good price, but Walgreen's often has the jumbo packs of their brand diapers at 2 packs for $9 and all sizes are available from newborn up to pull-ups. My DD has had no issue - so far only using them for overnite (but I always use a size larger for overnites, regardless of brand, which has solved the overflow problem). HTH!

my twins were heavy wetters, try slipping a large maxi pad inside the diaper. Literally just lay the pad in the diaper and close it as normal. The diaper is bulky but it helps with the wetting through. |

The 2 for $9 is for pull ups too? We were all done with diapers and pull ups in our house but my son is having some kidney problems and has some trouble with nighttime wetting so I need to stock up again. Can't do diapers, the poor kid is upset enough about having to wear something at night (he really can't help it at all though) |

I find this so interesting to read everyone's opinions about the best diapers. I am a daytime - cheap after the 'turd' has been made (LOL Amidala081499). Good diapers at night and when expecting 'turd'. Cheap almost anything for my kids but I cannot stand Luvs or Target brand. My sister who has had 5 goes with Luvs. Bottom line I think it really depends so much on the babes' individual 'patterns'- big drinker, nursing v. formula v. table food, skin sensitivity, shape of legs, sleep on belly or back, need I go on?

They must have changed the diapers styles because when my 4yr old was a baby I tried aldi diapers. they sucked. They had little animals on them , and the tabs were folded/pleated with thread running though the pleats. They rip off all the time. I swore off aldi diapers. I might need to give them another try with my 1yr old. Do they make a pull-up yet?

Yes, they do make a pull-up version. I believe they did change the product since they first came out. I would give them another try...second chances... .Huggles!

I think the Aldis ones are good at nighttime. I have also read somewhere that if you buy a size larger diaper it helps with leaks, so if in a size three maybe wear a sz four at night. I have not tested this theory, it is just something I read somewhere. I also will sometimes put a little swimmer on my daughter over her diaper, this hasn't failed me yet! It keeps her clothes and bedding dry everytime!
