There was a catalina hanging at the self checkout, so I took it off. Apparently the Cat is a 20.00 gift certificate for Red Envelope. It's for buying haagen daz ice cream. I didn't buy the ice cream, but the person before me did. So if you are buying the ice cream, remember to grab the cat at the self checkout. The items at the website is quite expensive, so I'm saving it for something. It doesn't expire till Sept, so you have a while to use it.

RE: Red envelope catalina. You should know that you may NOT use that catalina coupon. Obviously you used a self-checkout that you were able to get this. And you must have used that self-scanner immediately after the previous customer. Otherwise, the attending cashier should have taken that coupon, tore it up and put it in the trash. Anytime you see a catalina coupon left behind, you may NOT take it. It was meant FOR the previous customer...... it also is tied in with the customer's Bonus Card. I'm an attending cashier for self-checkouts and know this to be true. So, anytime I see catalina coupons left behind, I take them and tear them up. Yes, it's a sad waste of paper and coupons, but that is what I MUST do. So, do yourself a favor and throw it out. DO NOT USE IT !!! The catalina is how manufacturing companies get you to try their various products..... they know what you buy..... through these bonus cards.
