just got and email from albertsons saying the $1/2 quaker printable
coupon is a fraud and they won't honor it. anyone else have this issue. it was from the quaker website how is a counterfiet?

My Albies took it but the cashier gave me a hard time saying it was only one coupon per transaction although it doesn't say that.

Is this the $1.00/2 chewy bars? It is right there on their site! How can that be fraud. The same crap Sears tried to pull. Have you thought to call Quaker?

The cashier showed me the e-mail corporate had sent out saying that it was not published on Quaker's site, but on a look-a-like site. It wasn't actually from Quaker. She showed me e-mail and warned me about a lot of fraudulent coupons out there. I was SO disappointed. $.50 is my limit on granola bars and we are getting L-O-W! Has anyone tried contacting Quaker?

Reportedly, this is a problem between Quaker and Albertsons. Lots and lots of people are reporting that calls to Quaker have said that the coupon is legit. The problem is with the pdf coupon. Lots of cashiers think they look suspicious. I'm always hesitatant to use a pdf.

I used mine at Target last Friday and went thru with no problems. Hopefully Albertsons will get everything straightened out.

I talked to Quaker and they said it is a legitimate coupon, but that Albertson's had an issue with it. He told me I can use it at any other retailer. This is quite different than what I was originally told at Albertson's, so I called corporate yesterday and within an hour a local store called me and accepted the coupons for my trouble, but with a promise to research it so I can have some answers. Sounds to me like Albertson's is leery of any PDF coupons because of other fraudulent coupons, and when people came in with multiples they just pulled them all without really consulting with Quaker. I will let you know what I hear back from my manager later!
