I know you can use a store coupon and a man together but today I went to albertsons and the cashier said that the store coupons say they can't be combined with anyother offer she was also a manager probally new but she was sayin because the store coupon said that I couldn't use both store coupon and man. coupon so i told her I came in before and used both and the other managers overrode it. she said we arent suposed too but i will this once is she right or am I?

It means that you cant use the albertsons coupon AND a manufacturing coupon. You can only use one or the other.

i agree with you... it is confusing. I have almost always been able to combine the 2. i found out the hardway a couple of days ago when I was attempting to buy 6 packages of disposable, cups, plates, and bowls. alby's had them with an in house coupon for 99 cents each. I also had coupons that would have made them 25 cents or 50 cents each and they said i couldnt. The cashier showed me on the alby's coupon where it said I couldnt do that. Oh well. 99 cents was an okay deal... just not great..

I just called corp. and they said its the stores sole discretion and that they are allowed to override it but they can choose not too, i haven't had a prob. until tonight so i think i will just avoid that one cashier/ manager next time. I think its stupid though cause if a product is on sale for a dollar with store coupon and i have .75 off manufacturer whether or not they accept both all they would get is a dollar anyways so why not let the customer save money pay .25 and collect the other .75 for the manufactor same amount of money so why not? some stores or managers are so dumb .
