I just got back from Albies, 1. They were out of ALOT of products for the buy 8 get $4 off. 2. They would only double 3 like Q's. 3. They would not double ANY IP Q's. The clerk said, "I just found out we are not suppose to double any IP's. I had him remove some of the stuff and I messed up one of my $4 off I wish they would get their Q policy straight.

I have an Albertsons in my area that is very un-coupon friendly. I've had problems with them accepting ips. I just avoid that store and go to another that accepts all my coupons.

I called Corporate becasue a cashier would not let me use a BOGO & another mgt for the item I was buying threy said they did not having anything that said you could not do it they has the store manager call me after I explain what I was trying to do he said that that was fine I told him he needed to tell his staff I also told him I had a cashier confirm that they double or triple more than 5 coupons then the same cashier that would not take my BOGO he said only 5 so he said no they take all of them there is no limit I told him that corpate also told me the did not have a limit he wanted me to come in and we wouls try it together I told him I had already done it with his cashier and the register would not allow it it only took it for face value he said he was going to email someone he knew to see why he said he has no idea this was happening I plan on meeting him tomorrow so he can see for himself that it is the register so he seems to be intrested as to why although I also told him just image how many customer who do not pay attention have not brought it to his attention. I also told him our Kroger now accept and double all coupons I know I try it and it works I told him that mr and my coupon friends could just take our business elsewhere that is when he said to come in a try it I will do that and give you guys an update I am in the DFW TX area let hope we get them to fix it for our area.

I was also told today that they can only double 3 of a same coupon, after three then they can only give you the face value of the coupon. I asked where on the ad did it say there was a limit on the doubling and he said it doesnt say it but that they are told they have to follow this???? hmmmm!!

I just got back from the store too, and am not totally happy.

I didn't run into any of the limits on doubling the posters above mentioned, thank goodness. However, they wouldn't take my $1/1 Simply Orange mq because the item was only 88c. I asked her to change the price of the item to $1 and she said she couldn't, and said per an ephemeral "January 20th" coupon policy, the mq has to be within 1c for them to take it with overage. I was really disappointed about that.

The Softsoap on sale is too small for the mqs that were in the inserts. The mq was for 8.5+ ounces and the sale item was 7.5. Oh well, my kids' classrooms won't get the hand soap they were going to get tomorrow.

And . . . one of my mqs didn't double and I missed it and worst of all, like the OP, with items out of stock, etc, I miscounted or something and bought only 6 items in one set of 8 and missed out on the $4. I didn't realize it until I got home. GRRRR. I might have bought one or two items to make up a set of 8, but to have bought SIX items without the rebate . . . makes me want to kick myself.

I AM happy about the free cookie mix and snack mix bags. And something I bought generated a $1 cat from General Mills.

We found the same thing with the softsoap. The coupon from the inserts doesn't work, but the IP does (although, it states one per household).

I keep having a harder and harder time at Albertsons too! And now I can't believe they won't price adjust! I'm disgusted with that!!!! Every time I go there's some new rule, something new they won't take, something new they won't accept. I find myself avoiding them more and more! Sadly...

Sorry Ladies. I had a great day at albertsons yesterday. Here in Albuquerque. I spent 60.35. I saved $188.25. I was very excited about that. I got all of my soft soap (6) of them for free. They (2) stores were out of the yoplait smoothies for the buy 8 save $4 deal. I got a raincheck for them. and the savings deal. So I can use my coupons. And I save and additional $10. just for wearing my husbands football jersey. The cashiers were amazed and really so was I. Keep trying for the right cashiers at the right store.

I looked up the printable Softsoap mqs and they are all listed as 8.5 oz or larger. I didn't actually print any because I didn't want to waste my time unless they print up as any size/smaller size.

Did yours print up allowing any size?

I could have sworn they printed up as "off any softsoap". Maybe it changed? I printed mine a couple weeks ago. I have one left somewhere, I'll try to find it and see what it said.

I just printed one. It says "Save 50¢ on any Softsoap Brand Liquid Hand Soap" and "Limit 1 coupon per household". Nothing about size. (this was from the link I posted in my other thread).
