Wow! What an awesome trip today! Everything I bought was on the General Mills buy 6 and save $3. I did a total of 15 of these offers (so $45 savings!). I had coupons for all of them. Since coupons are doubled/tripled/quadrupled, each of my coupons were for $1. I am not positive about some of the numbers. but you get the idea.

I used 9 $1 Walgreens RR (Register Rewards) and received 2 ($3.50 and $2.50 OYNO catalinas)

Before I started scanning coupons, my total was $103. (The computer automatically took off the $3 for every 6 items.)

Total OOP: $1.75

OOP would have been lower, but I wasn't watching close enough. I was using the $1 RRs, but ran out of $1 ones. I had $2 ones, but my total was under $2

I love to read stuff like this because it gives me ideas on how to do it as I learn more. For instance, I never thought of using my Wags RR there, although I did use a GM cereal cat I had from Fry's. I pulled out one from Fry's and one from Albertson's and because they said the Albie's one attached to 5 items and the Fry's one just counted as a store coupon, that's the one I ended up using. Ding ding ding.

Another stupid question--I didn't know it was double/triple until checkout. Was that in the weekly ad? I would have played my coupons differently had I realized that. I was glad to get the unexpected savings, but would have picked up more of the same items you did.

My ad had the single page with the General Mills $3 off 6 ads on front and coupons on back. The main ad (the multi page) had the double info. I almost missed it!
