What's everyone think of the buy 3+ lbs of roast get potatoes, celery, & carrots for free? I was figuring even if it was $1 cheaper per pound for meat at my other store, the differnece with the veggies would equal it all out, if not be more. Debating, multiple transactions... opinions?

I forgot what the meat was priced at, but I know celery is usually $1ish and I just bought 10 lbs of potatoes at Albies on Tuesday for $1.99 and don't know what the carrots cost...If you are in need of multiples of these items, I say go for it! You could also ask the butcher to do special cuts right at the 3 lb mark to maximize multiple transactions. Hth!

The meat is $3.99 a pound. Not bad, but not an amazing price. We are way low on beef though so might be worth it. I love throwing a roast and some veggies in the crock pot, so easy. Specially qwith all the diffwrent marinades and stuff I have stocked
