I'm in Gainesville, and that's currently the store that gets all of my money. Publix is closer but Albetsons seems to have better deals (considering all of the different eating preferences in the house).

After reading the posts on this thread I was just wondering, is there any other info I should know about Albertsons/Publix? I just moved here from Oklahoma. I had never heard of Publix before and the Albertsons in my hometown was bought out by Williams about 4 years ago.

Also what do you do when you are denied the use of a coupon at Albertsons? For example, they had some tune on sale for $0.48/can and I had a q for $1/2. I thought that I would be able to use the q and get the items for free, but the cashier said that they can't take the q b/c they didn't cost $1. I ended up paying for them and I know that $0.48 isn't that bad, I was just wanting to know how exactly it works (at Albertsons at least). Sorry for the long post.

Well, here in Miami, there arent any more Albertson's but apparently all the Publix stores will still accept there coupons. Go Figure!! Nearest Albertson's to Miami is in Pembroke Pines.

I only shop at ours, in Port St Lucie, when they have super deals. IT is about 15 minutes away and they are usually not comparatively priced with Publix or Walmart.

I shop Albertsons when I am near one because of special trip not too often. They have Great Deals though. Last week birdseye vegs 10/$10. and had coupons, also free Nutella. and other good deals!

Can you give me the specifics on the Nutella deal you did? I don't recall seeing that go on sale o rhave coupons come out... I want to know what to look for in the future.

that particular week it was part of their 3 day weekend sale items - just a coupon in the column of their ad. Often the best of items are Fri - Sunday specials!
