| Coupon policy change!
Albertsons coupon policy has changed as of yesterday in my stores in north east texas: You can only use three identical coupons for identical items in one transaction and may only have three transactions per person. This was changed yesterday. I went to get the dawn soap today and the cashier let me do three transactions getting three bottles each. She let me get a 4th bottle on one transaction bc the coupon was different than the others that I was using. A major pain!!! I'm not sure if this has changed nationwide but I went to two different stores in my town and both had the same policy. :/ |

The Albertsons where I shop put a 4 like MQ per transaction limit in place months ago. They will double/triple 4 like MQ's and will only accept 4 like MQ's per transaction. This is in NE Tarrant county, DFW area.

There was a sign up under the Dawn at my store stating that if you are using coupons with the Dawn you can only buy 2. Also if you are getting a rain check for the Dawn and using coupons with the rain check you can only get a rain check for 2. The sign also stated how 1 or 2 people are clearing the shelves and then getting a rain check for more.

I was told at a Denton store that this is because of Extreme Couponing the TV show. I can't believe only 3 like coupons in 1 transaction and only 1 transaction per day. Good thing kids are out of school they can help by making a transaction also.

Texarkana is allowing 3 like Qs per transaction up to 3 transactions. Now, if only the Walgreens would set some limits! The only issue I have had is that I can't do the "WYB 4 PG" deal with the Old Spice deo and body wash. Gonna have to PM @ WalMart.

I was there 3 days ago (I'm in DFW) and I could still do 4 like coupons per transaction and I did 4 transactions back to back.

I think we should all boycout TLC's show Extreme Couponing because in the long run it is going to really start hurting the families that do this to live. I know without my coupon deals I may have to go back to work outside the home and I really don't want to. My son just graduated and that would put my 11 year old daughter home alone.

I agree. Anyone who watches this show is helping keep it on the air. Turn it off!

| She said it was everyday, but I'm not sure if she knew what she was talking about. I had gone in during the KC Masterpiece BBQ sale and got 6and used 6 coupons and they didn't say anything. (This was before I called.) So I'm giving you what they told me, but not sure who knows what's going on there!

The Albertson's in Roanoke and Keller are very coupon friendly. I have never had a problem using several Q's on like items. I think 5 is the highest number I have used. The store in Roanoke has even put a store floor plan for all of their items out at the end of the isles. I really hope they do not start limiting. I see fellow couponers in there all the time.

I want to know why ANY store would ever want to limit their sales coupon or not. They make an extra .08 cents per coupon so the couponing customer is making them more money per item, right? I just do not understand why in the world a retailer would want to tell a customer to only shop once a day and limit what they buy with coupons they will be fully reimbersed for (not the double triples of course, I understand those limits) The bottom line is, they are telling us to buy less from them each week. Why do they even accept coupons? |

"Gang-Cut" coupons hurt stores, manufacturers and consumers | Jill Cataldo My store, in Sherman, has not limited coupons in any way. Then again, I've never tried to buy more than 15 of an item in a single trip. I've also never seen an extreme couponer/shelf-clearer there.
