We got back from vacation thursday afternoon. Tired and worn out, my DH handed me the remote to find something to watch on TV. I told him I didn't care what we watched, I only wanted to watch the kare11 news at 10p.

DH takes a shower and plops on the couch.

Me: you know how I talk about Karen (a household name now)

DH: yah

Me: pointing to the TV, that's Karen

we watch the segment

DH: did you get the BIC pens like she did

Me: yes I got them at target or cub, don't remember wich

My DH has always supported me, and fully understands that what I'm doing saves money, but I think watching Karen on the news puts a different light on it. Thank You Karen!!

Oh, and Karen, when we were in the cities, could you imangine how many times I wanted to hop on AFC to see if you would meet me?

Great segment, so what's next OPRAH?
