I have had quite a few people ask me questions about the Controversy Corner, such as, where is it, how do I get in, do I need special permission? Okay, here are the answers

The Controversy Corner is a private forum. We deliberately made it private due to the fact that material within the forum is considered controversial and could offend members of the AFC community.

If you would like access to the forum, you must private message an administrator. There are 5 admins at AFC, if you do not know who they are, you can scroll to the bottom of any AFC page and click on Meet The AFC Team and obtain information about the AFC staff.

Also, please keep in mind that although the AFC team strives to be available to AFC members most of the time, we do sometimes leave the computer to attend to our non-internet lives, so PLEASE be patient when awaiting approvals or answers.

Yes. When a thread gets too controversial for public view (general - non member) or even if it gets too controversial for AFC members, then it is moved to the controversial corner. The object here - I believe - if to keep what could be considered offensive material and thoughts from general view. AFC is a PG site. Also, while we may sometimes be a bit confrontational to one another, we do it in a friendly, loving manner. More controversial threads have very limited exposure.
