in keeping with my firm '1+ idiotic questions per month' policy, it's that time again!!

is there some place on here that i can say 'who has coupon x available for sale or trade & whaddya want for it?'

& people post answers in response? where would a place like that be? or do i have to go to fsot & slog thru everybody's list?? i don't think i've even been on that fsot end of town... is it confusing & scary??

Not a dumb question it took me a while to learn to navigate aft I believe there is a category called ISO (in search of) under fsot. Hth

The ISO forum is HERE. You can post what you need and see what people respond with. Read through a few of them to see how others are posting.

Also, in the Coupon Database here on AFC, if you click on a particular coupon in the database list, a small box window will pop up. Clicking on the magnifying glass icon will take you to a page where a list of AFC users will be shown who either have or are looking for that particular q. **Only those users who have that particular q listed in their ISO, FSOT or Wishlists will be shown.**

I am with you metalmama, I am scared of the fsot and "train" side of AFC. Any tips would be appreciated. Like if you say want granola bar q's and have diaper q's you don't want then you post that you want to trade??? I see people asking for postage?? How do you do that? Send a stamp to them. I am confused for sure, this is new waters for me, I am always in the CVS forum but need to branch out and need more q's for certain items I buy frequently. Tia!

Just be careful not to get ripped off
"shop" around for a reasonable trade/trader like you would an item in the store! It's easy peasy and you will 95% of the time find what you need at a price you wanna pay! Whether it be in coupons, stamps or PP see you around the "ISO" forum

i know, right??!!?! yeah, just no way!!! way scary!!

so i dunno man!! paranoia is good & cool & proper & fitting!! the internet is fulla creeps!! but man alive!!!! praise the Lord!!! not everyone on here is like that!!! not even a majority on here is like that!!! not even half is like that! not even a quarter on here is like that!! ...not even a 32th on here is like that!! i don't know any concrete statistics but wow!!!!

i'm paranoid almost to the point i should be medicated & locked up!!! and dooode!! i'm tellin ya!!! .....

if ya feel like something is hokey, don't do it!! cuz prolly it is!! but if ya at first feel like 'huh!! whatever!! prolly a scammer!!!'; cool.... maybe it is, maybe it's not.... if ya can't shake that 'this person is a liar!!' feeling.. then just don't PM 'em back!!! cuz man alive!!! if they iz a scammer, they'll just scribble you off the list & move on to someone more gullible!! if they izn't.... it'll become abundantly apparent, just like real life works, right??

, i got 'scammer bait' scribbled all over me, and the only q's i've sent out to scammers were cuz i ignored me even tho i knew i knew better even as i was hunting thru the q's to mail 'em.... i guilted myself into mailing 'em even tho i was fulla fiery red flags & warning signs... D just don't ignore that kinda stuff if you're worried about that kinda stuff trust you!!! you've been around for a minute or two, prolly .....

, i've sent out.... man alive, i dunno... who cares whatever out of all the stuff i've sent, to tons of random internet strangers, only 1 'got me' cuz i let them, - i ignored red flags & sent stuff anyway. (awww, cuz so sad! *sob* i read his or her PM & instantly knew s/he was lying. i reread the list of q's they "needed" & realized 'huh..... if i was that broke, no way i'd even want THIS kinda stuff!!' etc. just go with that, man!!! you know what a red flag feels like!! trust that!!! , cuz man alive!! you're no moron!!! & if someone's gonna scam ya, either you can go with your gut & tell them to get bit, or you can go with what i told myself- 'wow! i think this person is a screaming liar!! but on the off chance that they actually "need" this stuff, well..... ok, whatever. coupons aren't gold & silver & diamonds, they are only paper. prolly it'll all work out in the end' ;D)

& it totally does!! cuz prolly they have been banned by this board!!! - without me saying a word to anyone till MUCH later!!! & no one else needs to worry

oh my stars!! there's a thread on here that warns ya what to look out for!! i'll hunt thru my subscribed threads & as soon as i find it, i'll post it!!!

but not now... cuz i'm going to bed !!!
