on the hefty rebate you have to have the snow white tab. can someone please tell me what and where to look for the tab?

No, it is not the number on the DVD box. After taking the plastic off, pull the dvd out of the sleeve. Turn the case over and at the top of the case there are two tabs just above the upc # that read "Stock No. (your stock #) Proof of Purchase SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN DWARFS". There are two of them. The rebate is referring to one of those. Because there are two and the rebate only calls for a copy of the receipt, you can do two different rebates. Make sure to send a copy of the receipt so you can save the original for if another rebate pops up. HTH!

I snipped one off and left the other one on there (not thinking of another rebate popping up...good thinking!)

Does anyone think anything of giving this as a gift if one of these little tabs is snipped off? it's just for my niece and of course I know she won't care and neither will her parents but I'm just wondering what others opinions are.

thanks for the info. i am giving these as gifts to grandkids. still hadn't got the tabs off going to look tomorrow and see if i can figure out what yall talking about (tabs) on them.

I had the same question...my other one is for a Xmas gift. Even though it's for someone in the family, i know the mother will snarl if she sees that I have opened it. Do I just forego the rebate on that one? What's y'alls opinion?

One of the rebates expires 01/31/10 and the other expires 02/28/10. Do you think the parents would mind giving you the tabs after it is opened for x-mas?
