Its late and Im tired and have had a horrible day, so this may not be the best time for me to sit down and actually try to figure this all out. BUT if anyone would like to help me get started.. like what to do first and where to look to do that.. I would LOVE some direction! Im one of those horrible learners that have to have people show me how to do it the first time and then i have it forever. But to just read something to figure it out.. its like my brain cant stay with it or something. And Im also not a very organized person, so if you have tips on that too it would be more then welcomed. Wow, i sound like a mess dont I??

So if anyone would like to help out a newbie, I would REALLY appreciate it! I am soo excited to be saving like i see some of you are.

well, it would help if we knew what you were after, but I'll try to point you a few places...

near the bottom of the window is a box called Forum Jump; this is way to quickly move around AFC...you might start with the forum for the stores you normally shop at; there you will find ideas to save more where you already shop

on the menu above, Coupons > Printable Coupons will take you to hundreds of coupons you can print

last, but not least...do the Forum Jump to AFC 101

feel free to browse around and ask questions...the natives are friendly

Pick one store to start with... go to that forum and read some tips and tricks... then plan your trip to the store and go shopping... come back and reread the forum to see what you missed or could have done better. Trial and error is a great way to learn. There are so many little tricks to getting the best deals, it will take some time to learn.

Walgreen's is awesome, but I wouldn't advise starting there if you are easily confused or frustrated. It is a bit tricky. I started with grocery stores especially those that double/triple and have a card that allow you to save e-coupons like Cellfire, Shortcuts and P&G esaver. Then moved onto CVS and then Walgreen's. Also, lots of people on here buy tons of papers and coupons. You might just start small - one newspaper and the printables and work your way up to more.

Let us know what state you are in or what stores do you frequent and we will help you. Take it one step at a time. Once you have it - it will come to you so easy...my DH was so impressed last night with something I did on here...it was funny - he's like wow, you got it down...I was trying to print some coupons and working 2 computers and 1 print at the same time. Visit the forums for the stores you frequent...you can find very good tips there as well, again - let us know where you are.
