Hi, I am Ali, a recently laid off teacher and mother to 6. I am ready to dive in to hard core couponing but don't have nay clue on where to start. Can anyone giv eme a quick 101? I would so appreciate it! Thanks

I'm new too and have spent the last two days during my planning time at school browsing the sight and I keep finding new things. The homepage has several articles (bottom right side) that I found helpful. Reading all of the forums/posts/replies has been extremely insightful as well. Good Luck!

Hi, I have been around for awhile and have learned alot by reading and reading and reading, but the best to get started is to know what it is you want here,
if you need coupons go to the fsot section and you should find all you need there,
if you go to the individual store post you can learn alot, for instance say you shop at publix, then go to the publix section of this website and you will learn how to shop better at publix, many stores have weekly coupon deals where items are free are close to it,
Don't forget on the bottom of almost all pages on this site you will see...
acronyms and terms.. this is very helpful,.

Remember, there is no dumb question, so if you read something that you don't quite understand just ask. Everyone here is very helpful and patient. Take your time learning and start with just 1 or 2 stores then when you start getting the hang of it you will feel more comfortable branching out.

I'm a newbie too, and have found that I've been spending way too much time searching for coupons and deals. I think I'm an addict! However I think that AFC is THE place to learn from.

Like everyone else said, the best advice is to read. There is so much information here to help. If you ever are confused or have questions about coupons/stores etc, tons of people are happy to help! When I first came to AFC I probably spent a week strait reading everything related to stores I frequent. Even though I have used coupons before there was sooooo much more I learned!
