The only difference is with the rep you can add a comment. Also I think you can only rep so many times a day but there is no limit on thanks |

So if you Thank they still receive the Rep for the post??? Or should you just do the Rep to make sure? If you do the Rep do they still receive a Thanks? So confusing, my kids think I'm forum-challenged! LOL

I use the thanks button more often too, but still not 100% clear on the difference. Is everyone saying rep+ is a little better but there's a restriction on the amount you can use per day?

What about the number in parens after the word "reputation" at the top of each page? Right now mine says 6, but it will change as I click around the site. I see it takes me to posts I have been thanked for if I click on it, but still don't understand the number and how it changes. TIA!
