I responded last night to the 'need help' offer but I don't see where my post even showed up. We're a family of six and my kids have a genetic condition (autonomic malfunction) that costs us a great deal every single month. I've got to find a way to cut expenses and groceries are one of our main expenses.

So if there's someone out there who knows the best way to use couponing etc. and would be willing to guide me I would really appreciate it.

Are you still taking on newbies? Some things I can do just fine on this site, but sometimes I get stuck, spend literally hours trying to figure it out, but still don't....I'm dtermined LOL So, yes would love to have someone with experience to turn to.

I really want to know how to have a couple hundred dollars worth of groceries and only spend like 20-30 bucks. that is amazing to me.. I saw a woman on the news do it and i was absolutely amazed.. can someone tech me how to do that. I am a family of 6 with 2 dogs and 11 puppies.. I need to save some MAJOR money!! Help me please?

I too am new- a couple of months in-and just want to say HANG TOUGH. It does get better and so much easier. I mostly found giving it a few weeks to get some coupons piled up makes all the difference in the world. Also, give up on your little checkbook sized coupon holder. There are many suggestions here for how to organize your coupons. The old gals are very wise.

All of you basically have the same questions, so here goes:

Abbreviations. Home page of site. At bottom is a legend of abbreviations.

Print - go to "printable coupon database" they are listed alphabetically. Some coupons are print from right there and others take you to a mfr site where register to print. This is good because then you will get updates for new coupons. i.e. rightathome...you get email updates at least every two weeks with awesome coupons and contests.

In the homepage of this site is a front door section for newbies. Everything from how to create a wishlist to how to save money, how to make a binder, etc.

Saving 50% is pretty awesome. it takes practice. Shopping strategically. Matching the sales to the coupons you have is the key to extra savings!

I am a new member and, honestly, I was thinking about quitting because I am SO lost! I don't know where to begin on this site. How do you post? What forums should I establish myself with? What is a forum...LOL? I want to find coupons on items I plan on purchasing in the near future and then I want to print them. I have no desire to send them via snail mail or buy and sell them...or at least not at the moment. On the first day I joined I found a coupon that I wanted and it said that it was a TearPad...I found out what that means but how the heck do I get it?

I am still lost myself, but I have a cousin that uses it and I watched her save a ton of money so I have got to figure it out. I will try to let you know as I figure things out but I even have a hard time finding these post. Hang in there. Couponmom is easier to use I think if you have not been there, it just has a lot of the same coupons over and over. so that is why I am in search of other sites.

I am new to this site today and have been trying to navigate on here all day. I have tons of coupons here that I don't use and I posted 3 that I won't use to sell because right now I'm not in need of any of my own to use I have enough to use right now I'm not sure if they got posted and how I will know if someone wants to get them off of me, and if I sell them instead of trade do I wait til the person who buys sends the money and I receive it to send like on ebay? HELP!!!! I am so in need of it right now!!!!!
