Hi, Welcome to AFC, I find making a wishlist and ISO list here works out better then anywhere, you can trade the qs you don't use for the qs you are looking for, you can even get free qs at the raok section, I find AFC the cheapest way to save.

Hi Peppa! Welcome to AFC! Really, you want to utilize all of the above. There are some internet coupons that are the same as the ones in the paper, and there are some that are unique. Also, if you plan on shopping Target, you want to check the Target coupon generator often, because Target will let you combine one Target coupon and one manufacturer's coupon per item. For instance, Target has a coup for $1 off 2 Warm Delights. There is also a mani coupon for $1 off 2. You can use both, giving you $1 off each. The same is true of Walgreens. You can combine Wags coups with mani's, which is how we gets lots of stuff free or for pennies. When you do that on something that generates register rewards, and use those register rewards to buy more, well, that's where it starts getting really sexy. I hope this helps. If you need some help or have questions, feel free to message me. |

Since the Target Qs were mentioned, thought I may add a bit of info that I picked up elsewhere here on the site... you can print the current Target Qs from the gift registry kiosks they have in the store!

the other alternative is revolution money exchange which works like paypal without the fees for sending/receiving money as of this time.

I buy two papers a week plus my mom and MIL save their coupons for me. I print from the net, but not that much since as I did when I first started several weeks ago. Also, I have bought coupons from Coupons by Dede and love her service. So far I have more than enough coupons. I am planning on only buying one paper this week. |

one lady doing this was asked by many how she can manage and she says its just her past time. she doesn't have a family, just a cat so she has all the time to cut, clip, sort and mail these coupons for cheap. for those who are in it for business, this business is labor intensive, I cannot imagine how they can do it if its a one man/woman type of home business. they must be good with multi-tasking especially if they have a family to take care of.

I sell on E-bay, but I don't really make a profit. Mostly I started doing it when I became unemployed to pass time. If I do make any profit I use that for shipping my expireds to the military. I don't charge for expireds. It's the least I can do to help out. I also use any profits to pay for supplies. It's no biggie if I lose money, which happens a lot. Sometimes I get lucky and make a few bucks to break even. I actually lost quite a bit when I first started out. I had no idea how many fees there were! I have a lot of friends/family that give me their inserts, so if I'm not going to use them, someone should. I just started trading as well. Hint Hint. J/k. I like to sell on E-bay though because if I ever do find a job, I have been doing something for the past year to mimic work. And hopefully a future employer will be impressed. And it won't be such a shock to get back to 8 hr. days!

Can you get discounted papers at Dollar General?

If you have a Dollar Tree nearby you can get the Sunday paper there for only a dollar. And they usually have copies til at least Tuesday. Much better than the $1.50 at 7-11 or even more ($2.25?) at the grocery store! If you need multiple copies like I do, another idea is to get your family or friends who are not currently receiving the newspaper gift subscriptions, with the only requirement being that they give you all the ads. Free paper for them, cheaper coupons for you! Around here (southeastern Va) you can get a sub to the Va Pilot for just the Weds and Sunday papers for a greatly reduced price. I had a sub last year for only $20 for the whole year! Newspapers are hurting for customers bigtime, so you have a lot of bargaining power. Don't take the first offer when you call them to order. HTH!

| .01-.04?
[quote=joshmamabear;2085121]that boggles my mind also. there is stiff competition in coupon selling. in one site, people are selling them at .01 per coupon regardless of face value. her average charge is .04 and rarely goes over that. if I'm looking for a coupon in volume, I'd check with her first before going to ebay. I'd gladly pay her over a dollar for several cut coupons ready to be redeemed or traded. one lady doing this was asked by many how she can manage and she says its just her past time. she doesn't have a family, just a cat so she has all the time to cut, clip, sort and mail these coupons for cheap. for those who are in it for business, this business is labor intensive, I cannot imagine how they can do it if its a one man/woman type of home business. they must be good with multi-tasking especially if they have a family to take care of.[/Q How would I search where these .01-.04 coupons are sold? Thanks! |

I have a subscription to my local paper. Plus in my area it is up to the newspaper delivery person to get rid of the old newspapers. So I made a deal with him to buy his leftover Sunday papers. He usually has at least 9 left & often times more. I usually pay him 4 or $5. He knocks on my door Monday or Tuesday with his extra papers. I am fortunate-I hope to never get a different delivery person. LOL Unfortunately my local paper sucks! Awhile back when ya'll were getting 2 & 3 insets--I get 1. I did NOT get the recent Red Plums or the P&G. I only seem to get the Smart Source & even that does not have some Q's I hear others talking about they had in their SS. I do also print IP's off of the web & I have bought from Dede several times. Her Service has been GREAT. If I order on a Monday night I get it usually on Thursday. Only once did I get it on the Friday. Our local inserts did NOT have the Dr Scholl's Q or the free Glade Soy Candle-so I bought them from Dede. I plan on using the candles & the Nutriserums soaps(& other things I'll get free) for Christmas baskets. I also list my extra Q's on Ebay, but I'm also like the lady mentioned earlier. I am disabled & it's my hobby, not a business. I have never bought off of Ebay yet though. It gives me something to do to feel useful. If I can make enough to cover the cost of my extra newspapers I buy each week & the occasional order to Dede--then I'm happy. I send my expired Q's to the soldiers Also here in my town is a war museum-so I bring them a lot of the free or cheap stuff & they mail it to the soldiers. Also if I can get food(cereal, etc) cheap enough I give to the local food bank. Also we have a local thing for homeless men the "Bunk House" that I donate things to. These things make me feel useful. Now I'm gonna try to learn the FSOT system on here to list some Q's there. So I guess my answer is I use a combination of sources. Thanks, Becky |

I use thecouponclippers and have never had a problem with them. I also have 5 in my family and print and buy coupons. I really like purchasing the coupons online from the clippers because #1 no cutting!!! and you can pick and choose what you want like someone else said in an earlier post. I can spend $9 to $10 on purchasing coupons but when doubled or trippled the savings more than out weigh the costs. I occasionally purchase newspapers but have found with the cost of buying so many multiple papers I come out better taking that same money and buying the coupons I want. Hope this helps!!
