Okay so I am new here and LOVE IT so far!
I have already had a WONDERFUL lady contact me and offer to be my 'coupon fairy' which I think is so sweet and super cute! She is sending me some coupons to get me started. :-) I hope I have enough some day to do the same.

ALSO... Yesterday was my first official 'couponing experience'.

I went to CVS and the total was 66.xx! I PROUDLY handed over my stack of coupons and watched the total drop to 32 bucks! THEN...I smiled as the register just kept on printing...like that energizer bunny! I walked out of there with 24.99 in extra bucks! I felt so great! (I definitely have to adjust my organizing method though...dropped coupons all over the place in the middle of the shampoo aisle...)

I have pantyliners to last two months...some other feminine products, shampoos, shaving gels, dog food, deoderants, lip conditioners, body washes...and more! Im so excited and wanted to thank all of you for the great threads with the links to printable coupons and I LOVE the coupon data base! Finding this website is a definite diamond in the rough! I am a laid off Accountant and married mom of 2. (today my son turned 11!) My daughter will be 10 next week. I am the 'bread winner' in the family. I am the career mom and my husband works at wal mart at night. So my being laid off has really hit us hard. AFC is going to help us get through this tough time, as well as, help us be more money savvy in the future when I am not so worried about money (if that time ever comes again! hahaha)

Now I am on the hunt for some printable coupons that I can take with me to Stop and Shop today: Chef boyardee, Kens dressing, hawaiin Punch, green giant, capri sun, baked lays, arizona tea, vitamin water, hormel chili, pillsbury brownies, fiber one english muffins, sunsilk, kleenex, chex mix, air wick spray, oust, tide to go pen, pepsi 2 liter, and bar s brand meats....so if anyone knows a link where i could go for printables...would love to hear from you :-)

Oh yes this site is wonderful! You'll find it very addicting. Great job at CVS!!! Theres tons of ways to organize your coupons you just have to find the right method for you.

Went back to CVS with the extra bucks that I earned from my last purchase. GET THIS! The original total was ....$52.xx after extra bucks and coupons...I paid $5.56 in cash! It gets better!!!! I walked out with $15 more extra bucks! It was like CVS paid me 10 bucks to shop! Wooohooo! The lady in line behind me said...You are definitely on to something. And the cashier was so excited to just watch the dollars drop with each coupon. It was so fun! I also went back to Walgreens with my RR dollars. The original balance on my order $112.xx after my coupons and RR dollars I paid $ 23.85! That didn't include a $6 RR that the register wouldnt take. Apparantly my walgreens does not allow you to use more than one RR coupon per order. had I known that I would have done it in two seperate orders! Live and learn I guess. :-) Super proud of my shopping. Got some great deals. Many items ended up being free. I bought 6 Revlon eye shadows...originally 4.49, on sale for 1.99 and I had a 2.00 coupon each...so they were free :-)

Thanks everyone for all of your great advice! Now I have to try to do this with my grocery shopping! Bring on the challenge! hahahaha

It's always nice to pair those Qs up at CVS with some of their $3/15 , or 4/20, etc... that helps take a few more dollars off....and remember to scan your CVS card each time you go to the store (or drive by one! LOL!) Those CRTs help alot!

WOW!! sounds like you are off to one fantastic start! for some of those coupons that you are looking for, you may try writing an e-mail to those companies, expressing your delight in their product and they may just mail out some of those good coupons!

Wow congrats on the great experience, it is rare that you find a cashier that is excited for you, mine are usually ticked off cause i use coupons! Also the people in line were cool too, mine usually sigh and tap their foot! Its ok though, cause that feeling of walking out of the store with all my good deals is soo worth it~

RR are tricky at walgreens make sure if you have coupons for each item that you also have a item for the RR too like a small filler that way you can use more than one.
