Waiting it definitely tough, but I know in my area of PA there have been a lot of placements lately (which is typical for us due to summertime and new budget), what I am hearing is that placements are increased right now due to the rising fuel and food prices.

That is awful...I didn't even think about adoptions being affected so much...I guess it makes sense though with how everything is being affected.

As I understand, as politics change and new pols are elected into office, and new budgets go into effect, and laws are changed, any and all of these can change the foster/adoption climate.
