Happy Coupon Printing! | Howard is correct: you must go into the Control Panel then find your printer, then change your Printer Properties to b/w. Sj68 is also correct: many printers will not print if an ink cartridge is not in place.
NEVER take out a color cartridge from an ink jet to leave that spot empty, You risk drying up the Ink Jet Nozzle, thus RUINING your printer, or possibly costing you repair dollars at a shop. Also: when you are given a signal to change your cartridges, do so Immediately, do Not leave the printert for a day or two or longer, again, the ink jet nozzles will dry, then when you go to replace the new cartridge, your printer might not work, still acts like it needs a new cartridge, as the nozzles are plugged w dryed on/ink & cannot suck ink from the new cartride. I know, I did this & cost me $100 repair costs on my photo printer.
Also while you are at it, change the setting from "Draft" to "image & text", this takes a little more ink, but will give a crisper, cleaner looking q, as the ink drops are finer & the printed q should scan better.
