State Government Check your local phonebook for the phone number (or call your local library and ask for the phone number). By calling your state government's office, you can let them know about the regular government "whitehouse welcome" card (to get your own check link at top or snail mail address near bottom) you got from them and ask if they have something like that they can send for your child. Not all state offices will have this. A woman in Texas said her state government sent one for her kids that was personalized and had a state seal.
