the cashier is correct. she can't put 4.79 on the BOGO coupon since it rang up 3.79 for the 1st item. in fact, consider yourself lucky. I encountered a cashier who wanted to put $1 on the BOGO Q saying she has been told to put the lesser amount in BOGO coupons. I took the BOGO coupon back and gave her a $4 so that made it 2/.79 and that's good enough for me since its still free after $2 ESR. I didn't want to waste my BOGO coupon if she will just give me $1 credit for it.
