This is a good tip for those who live in hurricane areas or those who frequently lose power in the winter . . . DH thinks I'm crazy, but I fill a couple up when we're expecting big storms just so I don't have to worry about it! If you keep your freezer full, you can still try to freeze a bottle or two (I use SILK cartons)--then put them in the FRIDGE when your power goes out to give the fridge items a little extra help!
