You can request a free educator kit about trees from the hardwood forest foundation. I ordered a kit for our homeschool and it came today, full of small samples, hardwood pencils, a CD, and lots of great info inside. Great for anyone who wants to teach about forest conservation.
My Mom and I had a good laugh because 2 of the things inside were a pinecone and a roll of toilet paper, I said hmmm what would you rather use?? LOLOL!!
