If it's a girl-only party, you could go to a thrift store and buy a fancy party princess dress for each of the girls. Not the super-expensive ones, but the ones you might get for a dollar or two on clearance day (if you have time to shop around) in the adult section. Or put an ad on craigslist saying you're looking for fancy dresses for a child's dress-up party, that it's ok if they are damaged. You could contact a local theater group too to see if they have any that they have almost worn out that they are looking to get rid of soon.

Then use the makeup you get for little or nothing at cvs, rite-aid, wags, or wherever they happen to have it. Then they can play dress up and a couple adults can help them with their princess make up and princess hair.
