No Offense Meant to anyone, I'm just trying to help:
For everyone that is having trouble printing from SS, please read my reply to winross, & also the below info.
My previous desktop pc: running WINXP w/out problem of printing SS qs. New Dell Inspiron 530 desktop last fall, at first would NOT print SS qs. Went into the Advanced internet setting, changed some "Disabled" boxes to "Enable", Completely Uninstalled the Coupon Printer (the trick here: make sure to uninstall ALL of it off your pc), then Reinstalled the Coupon Printer again. From then on, I have Not had any problems printing SS qs.
I run with: Dell Inspiron 520 desktop & Dell Inspiron Laptop, Epson Stylus Pro Photo 2200 printer & Epson Stylus R280 printer,Use the Latest Version Of Internet Explorer (IE 7.0, I believe), use WindowsLive for antivirus, as this Automatically keeps pc's updated on All major Windows updates. ALSO: for some users, not keeping Windows updated can affect coupon printing.
Same thing for antivirus programs: some programs detect the SS Coupon Installer as a Virus, & will not let the printer install or work properly.
I hope this helps someone, as those geeks in SS's Tech Department have No Clue what we are talking about, & really have no desire to help us. I know, been there, done that, numerous attempts last fall for 4 wks, was always told: we'll get back with you. Well, very few did, & when they did, they had no answer to correct the situation. That's when I resorted to tweaking my pc myself.
We really need to find a woman/man that is an everyday pc geek, that will really dig into this problem for us. He/she will know instantly what is wrong & how to correct it. THEN the problem can be taken to Smart Source & informed what needs to be corrected in order for Everyone to print.
