from experience this is how they handled an ad match with TQ and MQ @ a Target store I went to:

they applied the TQ to Target's sale price and if the amount after TQ is still higher than comp's price, they will key in the comp's price BUT refused to use the TQ. They still applied the MQ after the ad match. IOW, they will not ad match the comp's lower price and then apply the TQ.

It is also cumbersome to ad match @ Target since they scrutinize the ad and you can't bring just the page of the ad with the sale item. They want to see the whole ad with sale date, which I understand to make sure that customers are ad matching items while they are on sale and NOT using old sales ads.

It may be YMMV but that is the first and last time I asked about it.
