My returns have been exchanges; I had bought that Revlpn butter lipstick; I didn't like the colors they had during the sale, but wanted to take advantage of the sale; figuring I would exchange it when they got a shipment with more colors available (would've gotten a rain check but for expiration dates on q's).

But the store said they have to do a return; could not do it as an even exchange. The few times I have done it was a major production, and a different answer each time to do the same thing (an even exchange); so I don't buy anything with the intention of exchanging it for another color at a future date.
