CVS accepts expired CRTs that were valid during the sale. For example, if you got a CRT for Advil but the store was out, you could get a RC and they would staple them together. If, however, you got a RC and then got a CRT next month, you could not use that CRT after it expired though you could use it in conjunction with the RC before the CRT expires. I have heard of stores who will let you use expired MQs but that is not in the policy. The policy only says CRTs. MQs are YMMV.
