It may be tricky. There is nothing in the official printed policy, but according to e-mails that others have gotten from Corporate customer Service, overage can be applied to the basket.
In actuality it only works if the coupon scans. If it has the new GS1 Data Bar code on it instead of the the old UPC Bar Code, then it won't scan & it will have to be taken off manually. If it has to be entered manually, the register will not allow it to be entered for more than the price of the product. So... again, it's tricky & you may not be able to get the overage but you can still get the full price of the product. It depends on the coupon. HTH
