Thank you everyone. I almost had it. I got the one coupon per item part but did not understand that the $/2, $/3, etc., coupons attached to the items as well. I now understand that I needed two fillers. I would have gladly bought the $.15 notebook (I understand that the Walgreens coupons do not count in the coupon count) but truly made a mistake.
But I have learned with your help

USPS Employee: 2¢, 3¢, 4¢ & 5¢ Me: Fine. I will take the 5¢ ones.
