Register logic is this ~ if you're using x/2 or x/3 MQs, make sure to give them LAST just before any WAGc. If you plan to use RRs, give them first so that each RR attaches to one item. when you give the x/2 or x/3 MQs, it attaches to the rest that have not attached to RR. ANY WAGc does not affect the coupon tally.
I've done this for years now and have saved from buying fillers if I have Qs good for multiple items.
right now, many stores are using the Smart Registers so I don't know how this will affect scanning of coupons. I hope we're ones of those who get these SRs last. I have heard it is anti-couponer.
