We went right back and the cashier tested everything. The POS kept saying it couldn't find the discount. After a bit of a wait, the manager came and voided everything and re-rang it all putting in manual discount code on each item.
In the end I came out ahead. I ha a bad pairing of $10 neospoirn and $3 bandages. I ended up with $15 back.
As fast as it was all corrected, I think alot of stores may not have had their POS updated right for the sale. I wonder how many folks only looked at the "you saved" line and missed it. I only looked close because I wanted to see how the coupons we had showed up with the store sale items.
I'm really glad I checked!! | I try to look at the receipt after a shopping trip and when I'm still in the parking lot. Why? Because I often find errors when I get home and then it becomes too much of a chore to bring the receipt back on a different trip. Also, the cost of gas has made me much more careful about limiting my shopping trips.
