Be careful with bamboo. It is my understanding that it tends to splinter easily. Just watch that you don't get bamboo coming off when you cut. I guess others can do that, too, but I would be careful. It is a good buy, though. Big Lots can have lots of good things at good prices. Just have to pick and poke around sometimes to find the goodies.
